The founder of AccomplishNow is me, Fiona Gunthorpe. I have 40 years of Administration, Event Coordination and Education experience across a broad range of Government and Private sectors. I am a country girl at heart, with sweet memories of growing up a sugar cane farm in North Queensland, however, now live in Brisbane with my family.

Here’s My Story:
My business name AccomplishNow is representation of my positive can do attitude and determination to make things happen and of course to a very high standard. I am friendly, enthusiastic, have excellent attention to detail and am always on the lookout for creative and efficient solutions.
I spent the first years of my working life in a State Government Department, progressing my way with promotions through lots of different jobs such as Administration, Maintenance Coordination, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll.
I then moved from my small country town and was a foundation staff member of a large city Parkland. Here, I had an amazing opportunity to create and conduct guided tours, recruited, trained and managed a Volunteer program and wrote the Volunteer Procedures Manual. Further to this, I developed an Events Manual, processed and recommended events for approval, and conducted the site coordination.
Following the arrival of my children, I studied full-time graduating as a Home Economics and Business Secondary Teacher with First Class Honors. I was passionate about combining my passions for home cooking and textiles with my personal strengths and love of helping people learn and achieve goals. Teaching across public and private schools I taught hundreds of teenagers to cook – which I believe are essential skills for life. Moving into the private education sector, I researched and implemented a bespoke program for high achieving students, and was inspirational (well I believe I was) in career development education – I loved this!
In 2024 I launched AccomplishNow. It is now time to interweave all these skills and experience and for me to run my own business.
